Organization Management Group takes being a good corporate citizen very seriously. In October of each year, the staff-run Community Involvement Committee meets to discuss the
following year’s activities.
The goal is to focus on a different initiative each month so that we’re able to find something each staff member is passionate about. We bring in a speaker to our monthly staff meetings to educate ourselves on that month’s area of focus.
In addition, we fundraise with all of the proceeds benefitting that month’s initiative.
April is National Volunteer Month, during which groups of staff members volunteer each Friday afternoon at various organizations. This allows for a hands-on experience. We also support the Salvation Army throughout the year with a year-long food drive.
Organizations we’ve supported include:
- HER Shelter
- Salvation Army
- United Way
- Hope Charitable Services
- Beth Sholom Village
- Special Olympics of Virginia
- The Noblemen
- Union Mission
- Operation Homefront
- American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
