An AMC Institute Accredited association management company has invested significant time and money to meet or exceed the requirements of the only American National Standard for Association Management Companies. Your organization can be assured that when you see the AMC Institute Accreditation mark, the AMC has met the ANSI/AMC Institute Standard for Service, Quality, and Excellence. To association leaders, this means that, among other things:

• Checks and balances are in place to help ensure your association’s money is properly handled.
• The AMC has processes in place that enable it to perform association management functions and deliver quality services.
• The AMC has established and implemented a training program for its employees to ensure that the delivery of services meets standards set by the AMC.
• Comprehensive and appropriate insurance is maintained by the AMC.
• Association Management Companies achieving this mark demonstrate a high level of professionalism and responsibility.

From 2001 to 2010 the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) awarded Accreditation to Association Management Companies that met a designated standard. The ASAE AMC Accreditation program ended on May 7, 2010 and all accreditations expired on December 31, 2010.　

Organization Management Group had earned Chartered Accreditation with ASAE, which means that OMG was accredited during the first year that the program was available.

ASAE's Association Management Company Accreditation program was designed to elevate professional standards and designate firms that demonstrated the knowledge essential to the practice of association management. The ASAE AMC Accreditation program assisted the association community by identifying the standards and criteria that are indicative of quality management service providers. This program recognized AMCs that met and adhered to these standards.

ASAE no longer maintains a separate accreditation program. ASAE recognizes AMC Institute's accreditation of Association Management Companies. OMG also has Charter Accreditation with the AMC Institute (see above).
