For the fifth year in a row, OMG client IREM® (Institute of Real Estate Management) Hampton Roads Virginia Chapter No. 39 received the prestigious 5 Star Chapter Status. The program honors IREM® chapters for providing valuable member services and programs. It awards points for specific activities based on criteria that define effective, successful chapters; some activiites are required, others are elective. Based on the total points earned, chapters can achieve One, Two, Three, Four, or Five Star Status.

In April, OMG and its meetings division, Meeting Strategies International (MSI) welcomed the Hampton Roads Partnership's Center for Public/Private Partnership (CP3) MODSIM World Conference & Expo to its list of clients. MODSIM World is a unique multi-disciplinary international conference for the exchange of modeling and simulation knowledge, research and technology across industry, government and academia. Their new website, launched the end of month, incorporated new web practices, improved information design, and added interactivity with social media, especially Facebook. All conference materials will be redesigned as well to increase the conference's brand recognition and take the conference to the next level.
