Gail Phillips, CAE, senior vice president of association management for OMG, has been elected to a second three-year term as a director for the Virginia Society of Association Executives.
Phillips has more than 30 years of association management experience and has been with OMG since its founding in 2000.
Phillips is a graduate of Radford University, where she studied merchandising and business, and has completed certificate programs in association management as well as marketing, codes of ethics, professional standards and association structures. She is a Certified Association Executive and a member of the American Society of Association Executives.
Though her management expertise Phillips has guided OMG’s client organizations to increased bottom lines through efficiencies and enabled their volunteers to free time for strategic issues within their organizations. Among these groups is the National Association of Residential Property Managers®, which Phillips serves as executive director. She also oversees the association management side of OMG while working with the company’s other executive directors to assist all OMG clients.
The Virginia Society of Association Executives is the only association in Virginia that serves the Commonwealth’s association management industry. VSAE focuses its resources on the professional development needs of its members by providing information, education and ideas to assist association executives in their profession.
