Victoria Hecht | Public Relations & Communications Specialist
Veteran journalist Victoria Hecht joined OMG in 2014 after 13 years with The Virginian-Pilot, where she served as editor of the Home, Gracious Living and Beacon sections. There she oversaw real estate, building, design and gardening coverage, wrote a weekly column and guided community news coverage in Virginia’s largest city. She previously worked for nine years as editor, chief writer and columnist for Byerly Publications’ community newspapers The Virginia Beach Sun, The Chesapeake Post and The Portsmouth Times, and also edited Byerly’s newspapers in rural Southside Virginia. She attended Campbell University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, interned in reporting at Norfolk’s WTKR-TV, and has worked in radio news and sales. The Norfolk native is membership chair for the Hampton Roads Corporate VOLUNTEER Council and a PRSA member, and previously served as newsletter editor and vice president of communications for the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach. She relishes antiquing, photography, Stephen King novels, exploring historic homes and cemeteries, traveling abroad, mountain getaways, writing, and the challenges and joys of being a wife and mother.
Kim Breeding-Mercer | Senior Graphic Designer
Kim has been with OMG since 2003. She holds a BA in English/Creative Writing from Old Dominion University. Kim has won many awards on behalf of OMG’s clients, including the 2009 Public Relations Society of America (Richmond Chapter) Bronze Certificate of Merit for Creative Tactics, and the 2010 Silver Communicator Award of Distinction for Print Magazine. Kim is an active member of AIGA, the Professional Association for Design, and served on the Board for the Hampton Roads Chapter as Communications Director from 2012-2013. She fills her off-hours reading books, painting, taking long walks with her dog, and arguing in favor of the Oxford comma.
Pat Hartline | Graphic Designer
Pat joined OMG in 2011, bringing with her a wealth of print production experience and design knowledge. Pat attended Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Specialized Technology for Graphic Design. She also completed a Web Design Professional Certificate program at Sessions College for Professional Design. She successfully completed the Dale Carnegie Course and was recognized by her peers with the “Human Relations” award. Pat lived in France for two years, where she certified (while designing for the French Naval Academy Publication Department) that life is great and 357 cheeses make it even better.
Courtney Lynch | Graphic Designer
Courtney joined OMG in 2015, after finishing a year-long graphic design internship with The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Her first foray into print design was in 2009 when she was the designer for her high school yearbook, and it’s been all uphill from there. After spending three years on the third floor of the Visual Arts Center, Courtney graduated with a degree in graphic design from Tidewater Community College in 2014. Two weeks after graduation she jumped straight into her internship in Williamsburg.
Joseph Coutras | Technology Services Director
Joe joined Organization Management Group in 2007 as the technology director. He attended Rutgers University and holds a degree in computer science. Joe is responsible for all IT-related activities for OMG’s clients.
