Victoria Hecht
Public Relations & Digital Media Director
Victoria spent 22 years as a journalist, editor and columnist, including 13 years editing multiple sections of The Virginian-Pilot, the state’s largest daily newspaper, before joining Organization Management Group. She has 10 years of association management experience, marketing clients at the local, state, regional and national levels. She works closely with clients to publicize their news; is a social media content creator and manager; writes for and edits client publications; assists at client functions; and collaborates closely with OMG’s education, conferences, publications and government affairs divisions, among other duties. Victoria earned a BA in communications with summa cum laude honors from Campbell University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and has received many community service awards and accolades from associations she has served. She has also worked in radio and television news. A passionate communicator, her mantra has long been: “Communication done properly builds business and relationships, connects community, and betters lives.”
Camera in hand, Victoria enjoys weekend road trips through Virginia and North Carolina (especially cemeteries!) with her husband, spending time with their grown children, antiquing, planning their next Ireland adventure, reading Stephen King works, trying new recipes and pampering their pets. She is also a strong believer in (and supporter of) #kindnessmatters.
