Luke Priddy

Government Affairs Director

Luke spent the bulk of his career in Virginia politics working for one of the longest-serving and respected members of the General Assembly, State Senator John S. Edwards of Roanoke, where he supported the Senator’s work on criminal justice reform, the judiciary, higher education, and critical budget negotiations that shaped transportation funding across the Commonwealth. From there, Luke continued through key roles in other legislative offices, including State Senators Adam Ebbin and Jennifer Boysko, and later served as a legislative analyst for the Virginia Department of General Services, the Commonwealth’s central service agency responsible for managing state-owned buildings, real estate, and Capitol Square.

Outside of the legislature, Luke was elected to Roanoke City Council where he chaired the Legislative Committee and worked on public safety, economic development, and land-use issues including zoning, development review, and long-range initiatives.

Luke holds a B.A. in Politics with a major in Government from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership’s Emerging Leaders Program. His career began as an intern for U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner and continued at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Taken together, these experiences at the local, state, and federal levels give Luke a comprehensive perspective on how government works in practice and how to make it work effectively for his clients.

Luke’s passion for public policy stems from his love of nature and outdoor recreation. As chair of the Roanoke Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Luke guided the adoption and implementation of the city’s Parks Master Plan to support long-term development, recreation, and resource management. Luke is an avid runner and outdoors enthusiast, finding clarity and community in local running clubs and time on the trails.

Ben Jones

Government Affairs Director

Ben Jones started with OMG in 2026 after serving two sessions in the Virginia State Senate as Chief of Staff for Senator Adam Ebbin.  During his tenure, Ben led the Senator’s office in promoting housing affordability, transit funding, and civil rights legislation. One of Ben’s favorite projects was organizing Senator Ebbin’s Annual Sangria fundraiser.

Ben is a native of Franklin, TN and a graduate of Auburn University. He spent the next decade working on and leading campaigns across six states and Washington DC from city council all the way to the presidential level, building a strong understanding of diverse political environments and grassroots advocacy. Ben now lives in the Brookland neighborhood in Northeast DC with his fiancé.

Ben is a loyal Titans fan, joining other Tennessee expatriates for Titans watch parties in the fall. His favorite college memory is watching the kick-six happen right in front of him, beating Auburn’s archrival, Alabama. Ben also loves helping his parents renovate their nearly 200-year-old house in Columbia, Tennessee. As a geography and world politics aficionado, Ben’s favorite event in DC each year is embassy day, where he has visited dozens of countries on a Saturday in May.
